About Me
Hello, I am Kieran Hamilton a fourth-year mechanical engineering student at Northeastern University seeking to join the medical device industry. As a Type 1 Diabetic, I have always been fascinated by the devices and scientific advancements that keep me alive. As an engineer, I strive to understand the medical device technology that helps patients manage their diseases and to contribute to its development.
Most recently, I worked at Analog Devices as a Digital Healthcare Mechanical Engineering Co-op, where I contributed to the development of wearable medical sensing devices and physiological monitoring hardware. My work focused on R&D prototyping and testing focused on wearable medical devices. In this role, I gained hands-on experience with CAD modeling, additive manufacturing, test fixture design, and electrical interfacing.
Outside of coursework and co-op work, I am a member of Northeastern’s club water polo team and enjoy learning about and tinkering with audio technology, as well as exploring new ideas through 3D printing.
